Beginning next Wednesday we are celebrating 35 years of baking delicious cookies for all of our loyal Santa Cruz customers! From the 21st through the 28th we will be hosting different activities to give you the opportunity to win a FREE cookie. In addition to that, we will be holding a contest to name a new cookie that we created just for you.
We can’t wait to see you in our Santa Cruz bakery with creative names for this amazing new cookie!
Your first job is always the frightening first step into the real world. At 16 years old, Amanda Stickle walked through the doors of Pacific Cookie Company looking to take on a little bit more responsibility. In her last two years of high school she baked some delicious cookies and became quite close to the Pacific Cookie family.
On July 25th 2015, years later, Amanda took another big step that would made her life a lot sweeter. Adam Long took Amanda Stickels’ hand in marriage at a lovely wedding they celebrated this past weekend.
Our very own Cher Jones baked some of our delicious cookies for this beautiful ceremony and they were just fabulous. I am sure that extra sweetness added to an already magnificent evening celebrating the love of these two wonderful people.
Congratulations to Amanda and Adam Long and wish you all the best on this new journey you are about to embark on!
Tonight we are hosting a First Friday event featuring Food Photographer Lisa Kennan and Stylist Lynn Piquett. The show is named “All Walks of Life” and it features all 13 of our cookie varieties paired with shoes because everyone loves cookies.
Lisa has a wonderful eye for food and composition. In her own words “I see beauty in everything. Decades in the business, I work hand-in hand with my clients to create fresh, captivating looks for their products, and such, have a wealth of long-terms clients who trust me with their brands- year in and year out.”
Lynn, our long-time designer, works seemlessly with Lisa in food styling. Based in Santa Cruz, Lynn, has been creating graphic design and photo styling for her clients for over 30 years. Lynn is an outstanding chef so her way with food is natural and the result is simply beautiful.
Join us to enjoy the photography and our limited edition Mexican Chocolate cookies in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Pair Mexican Chocolate cookies with Marianne’s Horchata ice cream in a mini ice cream sandwich for the full experience. We hope to see you on tonight!
