Caltopia is UC Berkeley’s event of the year for incoming freshmen at the prestigious bay area college. Thousands of students attend the two day event every year hosted by UC Berkeley and Cal Rec Sports. The free swag is aplenty and the sweet giveaways like 1 dozen cookies from yours truly, bikes and scooters runneth over.
This was Pacific Cookie Company’s first year attending Caltopia as a vendor and Cal Rec Sports wasn’t kidding about the 35,000 people turnout they had expected. We handed out over 10,000 cookies between Sunday and Monday.
